Missions

Our Focus

You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth. -Acts 1:8

Missions at Fellowship Bible Church is all about obeying the commands of Jesus in the Great Commission. We desire to send out cross-cultural evangelists and church planters to the least-reached people groups of the world.

Fellowship Bible Church missionaries serve around the globe. They live in Albania, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Ireland, Kenya, Slovakia, and other countries. Missionaries also lead short-term mission trips to Colombia and other South American countries and train and encourage pastors and other Christian leaders in Africa.

Beyond our primary focus of evangelism and church planting, our missionaries are also involved in ministries that serve in practical ways such as:

In Albania – teaching business and manufacturing skills to Roma Gypsy men so they will be able to provide for their families
In Cambodia – caring for orphans and helping the poor with medical needs
In Ireland – counseling abuse victims

Our Commitment

We pray regularly for our missionaries. A portion of the Sunday morning worship service is spent praying on a rotational basis for one of our 19 prayer-supported missionaries. Approximately 20% of the church budget is allocated to missions. FBC financially supports 12 missionaries.

Short-Term Missions

FBC sends short-term missionaries on church planting trips to Colombia, South America at least once per year. We have seen many come to know Christ and have helped start several churches in the cities of Cartagena, Bucaramanga, and Medellin. We have also taken short-term mission trips to numerous other locations including Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and Ecuador. Contact a member of the FBC missions team (see link to Missions Team below) if you would like to participate in a short-term mission trip.

Missions Conference

The purpose of the annual missions conference is to encourage those who attend to consider how they may be more involved in missions through such activities as testimonies, cultural education, and the much anticipated “Breakfast with Missionaries.”
